Thank you to everyone for all your support!- 1/13/10 -- Earthquake relief for Haiti
On Tuesday, January 12, 2010 a major 7.0 earthquake centered just 10 miles from Port-au-Prince devastated sections of the city. Thousands were injured or killed many more survived but need supplies immediately. Buildings collapsed all over the city including hospitals, the National Palace, U.N. peacekeeper headquarters and many more.
PACE' has donated $500 in relief funds to Partners in Health, a non-profit group that does work both medically and financially to help the Haitian people. If you would like to donate more please visit their website. www.pih.org- 12/5/09 -- SWEATERFEST 2009! Annual Fundraising Event

On July 15-22, three PACÉ members, Victor Valenzuela, Dan Phipps, and Jeff Coyne traveled to Port-Au-Prince, Haiti to perform some surveying work for a new orphanage. They then traveled to Hinche, Haiti to survey land for a new medical clinic. Fellow PACÉ member, Tim Moore, was the trip organizer.
Travel expenses were paid for by donations to PACÉ. With the generous amounts that friends and family contributed we were able to raise one thousand additional dollars. These funds have been allocated to provide a water-well for the orphanage in Port-Au-Prince, once constructed. Children, women and farmers currently walk a few miles to a unclean water source several times a day to fetch water. This well will not only provide water to the orphanage but also many others living around the area. Thank you for your donations!
If you wish to make a contribution to the Port-Au-Prince Well Water project, Please make checks payable to PACÉ (well water in memo line) and send to 418 Durham Hall, Blacksburg, Va 24060.- 4/14/09 -- Bike to Uganda was a huge success!
