'Bridging the Fonlanfe' Video

Flash floods affect Haitians throughout the country, destroying what little they have and bar access to health care, education and general wellbeing. A bridge for Boucan Carré will provide access to a preferential option for more than 20,000 people.

In the dry season, Fonlanfè cuts a picturesque line through the countryside. But as the rains come another story is told as Fonlanfè swells and transforms into its Haitian Kreyol translation - "Deep Hell." Often impassable, the river has dire effects on the health, education and economy of those living nearby. A bridge across the Fonlanfè represents more than the steel and concrete used to build it. It represents hope. With your donation, we are one step closer to bridging the gap of social injustice and creating hope for thousands.
